REVÉS ISSUE II: THE TRAILBLAZERS OF TOMORROW

“In DUEMODA’s (REVÉS) second installment, we bring you decolonization and deconstruction. Just like the meaning of the snake, we want to reintroduce the beauty of these forgotten figures to those in the diaspora in the West. In the broader sense, we reject the West’s rebranding of the snake, and in doing so reject rebranding of Indigenous cultures and the definition of one supreme above all else.”

REVÉs ISSUE I: BIPOC FUTURISM

“We want to remove the barriers placed between culture, stereotype, and fashion by incorporating different cultural elements into our photoshoots. The magazine is created and produced by BIPOC, for BIPOC, and for other marginalized communities. We always want to make sure that tokenization doesn’t happen and that is achieved through a diverse staff, not just models, but also in the board.”
